Natural-born Entrepreneur
Dudu Simelane is a finance enthusiast and Strategic Planner for Personal Finance and Business Finance. She’s also the CEO of Umnotho Value Consulting.
Simelane shares, “I caught the ‘entrepreneurial bug’ at the tender age of 10. This began [with] the responsibility of running an internet cafe and managing its finances. Little did I know it would mark the beginning of my journey to financial freedom. I have since gained extensive experience through unofficial financial consultations with family, friends, colleagues and fellow entrepreneurs. With a growth in demand and repeated ‘consultations,’ Umnotho Value Consulting was born. Umnotho Value Consulting was established with the purpose of filling the gap and helping young professionals and SMMEs access sound, tailored and affordable Accounting Services.
Helping young people outgrow financial turmoil
According to Simelane, the workshop will initiate the conversation around and explore ways to heal from or overcome financial traumas caused by mismanagement. “We will be providing or training our audience to –
- set SMART FINANCIAL GOALS through my carefully tailored and intricate workbook,
- Apply savvy budgeting techniques,
- Explore investment opportunities amidst volatile economic times,
- Entrepreneurial coaching,
- Identifying and learning about “Money Personalities” and
- Knowledge on available funding opportunities.

“When you have a wonderful team, you can be sure that you’ll put on a fantastic event despite any minor setbacks or distractions. It goes without saying that organising a successful event might exhaust you. After being on high alert for a number of hours, not to mention the effort put in in the weeks and months before to ensure the production’s success. That is what makes everything worthwhile – the joy of living my goal to impact and advocate the importance of living debt free life to existing and upcoming professionals,” she says.
